Also, to the people who think that Seiten Taisei is a worthless piece of crap. It's not. It's quite an enjoyable show. And what is the main character's purpose? To get revenge on his father for not telling him about his mother? Or to become a super good person and save the world? That's not the point. The purpose of the show is to make the audience feel for the character and to make them feel sorry for him when he makes mistakes. He's not the type to go after revenge and doesn't really have any goals besides that. He doesn't have any personality flaws, he's not a jerk, he's just a kid who tends to be a little naive. I think his main goal is to find out if he really has a mother.
Also, I don't mean to sound like I'm bashing Seiten Taisei or anything, but I don't consider it a masterpiece either. As far as I'm concerned, it's a show that has its moments but not particularly great ones. It's not a bad show, but it's not one of those masterpieces where you can't stop watching.
