MIIA personality type is INFJ, and we’re in this for the long haul. But we also know that’s not always possible. Sometimes, we need to let go of our dreams and accept that we can’t achieve them.
For example, when I was in my early 30s, I had a dream to be a writer. I wanted to be published, and I wanted to travel to exotic places. But I was a full-time employee at a Fortune 500 company, and I knew that if I did try to pursue my dreams, it would make it difficult for me to find a balance between work and travel.
So I put the idea on the back burner and instead focused on things that were within my control. I worked hard, got promoted, and took on new responsibilities. In time, I was able to get a work-from-home position that allowed me to travel more often.
But I recently realized that my childhood dream of writing a children’s book was still on my list of things-to-do. And I decided to pursue it. So I quit my job and moved to a new city so I could devote myself full-time to writing.

MIIA is a product of the Scandinavian Pop scene that has delivered the world a disproportionate amount of Top 10 hits over the past two decades. Signed at age 14, MIIA (pronounced MEE-uh) just completed her debut EP release, "In The Light of Love" in Hollywood under the direction of Producer J Ryggs and Songwriter Hillary Bernstein.
