SnrGiraffe personality type is ESFP, which is why I have a tendency to get caught up in excitement and excitement and excitement.
When I'm excited, I tend to talk and talk, and talk and talk.
Another reason I tend to get excited is that I'm EXTREMELY sensitive to criticism/disapproval/being told I have a bad attitude.
So I tend to lock my emotions down, because of that.
I also tend to be attracted to people who are, well, EXTREMELY intense.
In relationships, this can take the form of a need to control and "fix" the other person. Which I don't like, because it means that someone else can control me.
So, I'm attracted to people who aren't afraid to admit they have a problem (and are open to being helped by me fixing it) - and are also open to accepting help from me.
I think that's where my need for control and the need for people to be open to being helped comes from. I'm attracted to those things because of my past and present experiences with them.
My personality type is ENFP, and I use my extroversion to my advantage for most things.
