His idealistic views are also reflected in his relationships with his daughter, though he initially has an antagonistic relationship with her.
Lelouch has a tendency to be frustrated with himself when he is unable to do something, and even sometimes when he does. This can be seen in the first episode of the original series, where he expresses frustration that he cannot use Geass to convince Suzaku to fight on his side.
