He was a bit dorky in high school. He says: “I was all about the books, reading everything I could get my hands on. I’m still reading more books than I should be, but I’m getting better.”
Pete went to college at Caltech, where his love for science was confirmed. He studied philosophy and religious studies, but the math courses he was taking eventually led him to engineering.
