Coirana personality type is ENTP, and in it my ENTP husband managed to combine the best of both worlds.
My ENTP husband is an artist, and he's extremely creative. He's an ENTP with the Myers-Briggs temperament indicator of Extraverted Intuition, which means that he's more interested in ideas than in practicality. As a result, he's almost always thinking about things that are new and different, and his mind is always full of possibilities.
If he's not designing a new house or building a new car, you can find him in his studio, designing a new piece of art or painting a new landscape.
This is why I expected my ENTP husband to be a very different type of artist than I am — I'm an INFP who enjoys the physical world, and I like to use my hands to create. But when I met my husband, I was delighted to find that he was just as interested in working with his hands as I am. He's not just an artist — he's an artist who happens to be handy with his hands.
This means that he doesn't fit the stereotype of the artist as a reclusive genius who lives in a shack in the woods.
