The world is full of people who never quite get it right. They are too afraid to step out of what is comfortable and sometimes even what is safe. They spend their time trying to adjust themselves to the people around them instead of allowing themselves to be comfortable with who they are and what they have to offer. This is all too often the result of their inability to understand their own emotional intelligence, which is why I have devoted myself to helping others understand and harness their own EI. I want to share my insights here in an effort to help you understand the whole picture and help you take your own steps toward becoming more emotionally intelligent.

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to hear another speaker at a conference. He was able to relate his personal experiences in a way that was very touching. I, however, did not relate his story in the same way. I felt as though he was talking around me.
