With this similarity to the stories of Cal Kestis, I wanted to create a story that was about someone entering a boarding house for life.
Cal Kestis is the protagonist of this story. He is quite happy in his current life with his wife and his son, but one day he decides that he would like to try something different. He plans to become a boarder in the boarding house. At first, he does not even want to talk to the other boarders, but as his first night there, he meets and falls in love with a young woman who has fallen into the life of a street thief.
