I don't believe that I'm an introvert, I believe that I'm a social extrovert. My ideal is not to be alone, but to be part of a group. I prefer being with 5 people than with 10 people. This is because, for me, it is more fun. I like the feeling of belonging, to share my ideas and emotions with other people. That's why I prefer social gatherings to solo affairs. In social situations I act extrovert, and in solitary settings I act introvert.
I am extremely aware of my surroundings, and I like to observe and to understand the people around me. I am very observant, and I am sensitive to the other people's feelings. I feel empathy for others, and I am not afraid of showing my emotions to them. In a group setting, this gives me a natural opportunity to express myself without any inhibitions about showing my true self.
