This is very interesting.
The first ENTP I ever met was a female. It is very rare to meet ENTP females, and I wouldn’t have recognized your type as even being an ENTP had she not told me she was. And, of course, I would not have known that you were an ENTP had you not told me you were. But we do have a lot in common, you and I. I can see how it would be easy for us to become friends.
As I mentioned, I am an ENTP, and I do not see as many ENTP females as I do ENTP males. But there are a few, and non-ENTP females who have become quite close to me. When I was younger, there was a girlfriend who became a very close friend of mine. She was an ENFP, and she liked to read and study. She also had a innate talent for writing, although she had not ever tried to write professionally.
