In my experience, the best way to do this is to first understand your strengths. Once you understand where you naturally draw energy from and what you enjoy, you can naturally find balance in your life.
For example, I’m an introvert. I don’t enjoy socializing, and I find it draining after a while. I know this and do my best to limit time spent with people that I don’t get along with. This also helps me to feel more content with my time, because I’m not wasting my time on people that don’t want to be around me.
This also helps when it comes to networking, where you want to make sure that you’re networking with the right people.
