This book is unfortunate in that it is so easy to take for granted. The title, For the Love of God, is a good one, but in this case it is very misleading. I'm concerned about this so I'll tell you what the book is about and what it is not.

It is an eloquent treatise on the subject of Christianity by a Christian. It has no dogma, no formula, no reference to the Bible, no intention to be a textbook for teaching believers. A student of Christianity - or anyone who wants to know more about the Christian faith - will find this book invaluable. As a work of literature, it's worth having around because it is so well written.
It is written from a Christian perspective, and there are a few references to Jesus Christ.
