He’ll also make sure that there aren’t any intruders, which he’s really good at. He’s a guard dog—a very good guard dog.
And he has a really lovely bark.
I call him Teague because of the Teague Martin song, “Is There a Heartache in Your Heart,” which was the first song I heard by him. I used to listen to it when I was in high school and I would cry while I was listening to it.
I bought my Teague when I was 17, but he wasn’t all mine yet. I still had to wait a few months to get him. My family was living in New Jersey and they were going through a divorce and my father took Teague with him, so he didn’t come to live with me until I was 22.
