Riley is a blacksmith and weaponsmith living in Skellig, and sells weapons and armor. He is the only survivor of the island and the only person that can speak with the island's inhabitants.
Riley's personality is very similar to his brother, Eliwood. He is quiet and analytical, and takes on the role of a father figure to several members of the group, particularly Lyn. Like Eliwood, he often puts the group's interests before his own and is the one to suggest using the Mist to travel to other islands. He also has a fondness for practical jokes, as he tricks one of the Black Fang soldiers into eating a poisonous mushroom.
Riley can forge weapons and armor to use in battle, though he does not have the strength to wield them. He is also skilled at crafting potions, which he uses during battle to heal or to strengthen himself or his allies.
