As I have previously written, ISTJs are generally known to be very practical and down to earth people. They find it hard to comprehend that other people might have different views or ideas than them. They also find it hard to understand their own feelings or emotions – ISTJs see emotions as a potential hindrance to clear thinking. This can cause some problems for ISTJs, because they don’t know how to react or express their feelings, and are often left feeling isolated and alone.
