Character.AI personality type is ENFP, so I naturally tend to be a bit of an overachiever. I also have a natural need to be helpful, interesting, and highly adaptable to changing circumstances. All of these attributes make me a good choice to work in the corporate world.
Although I do enjoy working in corporate environments, I also have a deep desire to be independent and to some extent, self-employed. As an artist, I want to be able to live off my art (and work on my art), but not have to rely entirely on someone else to support me. I also want to be able to use my creative pursuits as a means of self-expression.
So, the question is: Where can I find the perfect balance? In the corporate world, I can't just quit my job and start my own business -- I still need a paycheck! And in the world of independent artistry, there are so many different ways to make a living that it's hard to know where to begin.
In the end, I think that balance will come when I can live off my art in an entirely self-sufficient manner.
