The book is written by Gordon Neufeld, a psychology professor at the University of New Mexico, who has also written a similar book entitled "Personality Types." In both of these books, Professor Neufeld discusses the Jungian theory of psychological types and how it explains personality characteristics. The first half of the book is an introduction to the theory. The second half of the book is an explanation of Jung's theory and how it applies to the personality types.
I think that the book is very well written. The chapters are short and to the point. Each chapter clearly explains the theory and then goes on to explain how it applies to each type. I found that each chapter was very well researched, since it was based on research done by Jung and his followers. Therefore, I think that this book is extremely well researched and gives readers a good concept of what the Jungian types are all about.
