STB is all too familiar to ENTPs, since it encompasses the different facets of their personality. Besides the obvious introverted and extroverted functions, which are basically their dominant and auxiliary functions, there are two other functions that are commonly associated with STB. The first is their tertiary function. If an individual tends to be introverted or extroverted in a particular way, they tend to be more STB than not, and will use this tertiary function when they want to be extra-versionally expressive. For example, if an ENTP tends to be introverted and not very communicative, they will use their tertiary function more as the year wears on.
