Caleb personality type is ISTP, while Ezra is ISTJ. Yet, they still seemed to have a very strong connection, beyond the fact that they were both ISTPs.
The real surprise came, when Ezra played his part in the end of the episode. After trying to kill him, he then went back to the ship and confessed everything, while Caleb was still unconscious. The way they looked at each other was very touching, but the more important thing is what they said to each other.
Caleb was unconscious, so it’s obvious that he didn’t hear what Ezra had to say, but his reaction when he woke up was very touching. He was totally shocked that everything that happened was real, and he didn’t want to believe that for one second.
The only thing that really surprised me is that Caleb didn’t kill Ezra in his sleep. I think he would have done it if he had the chance, so I wonder what the writers will do with the character in future episodes.
I think it’s clear that they are both very good people, who really care about each other.
