"I've always been serving people," he said. "That's kind of my life mission. That's kind of why I'm here. I want to serve people."
Jungwon said he realized his leadership potential when he was in first grade.
"I was like a leader from the beginning," he said. "I had this little group of friends that I was always with. I wanted to be their leader, so I would make decisions for them and lead them through life."
He remembers about 10 years ago, after his sophomore year of high school, Jungwon began to notice other people's negative perceptions of him.
