I’ve read many of the books in the Madeleine L’Engle canon, but I’ve never read A Wrinkle in Time. When I was in high school, the only other books I could get my hands on (besides the Harry Potter books) were A Wrinkle in Time and A Wind in the Door, which I read over the course of summer vacation. I loved them both, but I feel like A Wrinkle in Time has always been overshadowed by A Wind in the Door.
A Wrinkle in Time (also known as A Wind in the Door) is about Meg Murry (played by Amy Adams), her little brother, and their friend Calvin O’Keefe (played by Chris Pine) traveling through space and time. They encounter aliens, demons, and other creatures, but they are ultimately up against their greatest foe: Charles Wallace Murry (played by Deric McCabe), Meg’s father.
