Carlos Alberto Mestre, known as Nito, is an Argentine musician, best known as part of the folk rock duo Sui Generis, in which he played the guitar and acted as vocalist along with Charly García. After the breakup of Sui Generis in 1976 he led the Nito Mestre y Los Desconocidos de Siempre band. He followed a solo career afterwards. In 1981 Sui Generis briefly reunited to finally reform in 2000. This formation lasted until 2001, along with the release of a new album, Sinfonías para adolescentes.
