Miguel Ángel Peralta, best known as Miguel Abuelo, was an Argentine rock musician and singer. He is known for having been the leader of the influential rock band Los Abuelos de La Nada, initially formed in 1967. They disbanded, then forming their most popular incarnation during the '80s. He was diagnosed with AIDS in 1987, and as his health condition deteriorated the group disbanded. He died in 1988, at the age of 42.
