    ENTP (6w7)

Sun Quan personality type is ENTP, or “The Mastermind.” While the terms “The Wizard” and “The Sorcerer” can be applied to him at times, his personality is not one of magic or of illusions. He does not try to control people by controlling their minds.

While Sun Quan may appear to be a tyrant, this is not the case. The honor rules of his country are strict, but he does not wish to rule by fear. It is likely that his strictness is rooted in his desire to protect his people, rather than in an attempt to gain power. To the extent that he is harsh, this is likely because he wishes to maintain order in his nation.

Although Sun Quan has no desire to rule over others, he does have desires that go beyond the modest scope of his own nation. He wishes to honor his ancestors, and, through them, the gods. He wishes to protect his people, and, in the process, uplift the common man.

Sun Quan’s leadership style is not one of absolute rule, but rather one of consensus. He does not force his will on others; rather, he leads by example.

Sun Quan formally known as Emperor Da of Wu (literally "Great Emperor of Wu"), was the founder of the state of Eastern Wu during the Three Kingdoms period. He inherited control of the warlord regime established by his elder brother, Sun Ce, in 200. He declared formal independence and ruled from 222 to 229 as the King of Wu and from 229 to 252 as the Emperor of Wu. Unlike his rivals Cao Cao and Liu Bei, Sun Quan was much younger than they were and governed his state mostly separate of politics and ideology. He is sometimes portrayed as neutral considering he adopted a flexible foreign policy between his two rivals with the goal of pursuing the greatest interests for the country.
