Sophie Beckett personality type is ISFJ, and since my type is ENFJ, I tend to function more like an INFJ.
In this chapter I will be exploring the dichotomy between the Extraverted/Introverted nature of the personality types, and how they influence each other.
Extraverted/Introverted
I’m going to try to keep this as simple as possible, but it’s important to understand the difference between Extraversion and Introversion.
Extraversion (E) is defined as an outward expression of personal energy and attention. In contrast, Introversion (I) is defined as an inward expression of personal energy and attention. The rest of this chapter will be exploring the differences between Extraversion and Introversion.
Extraversion and Introversion are dichotomous, and have opposite poles. Therefore they have a zero in the middle, the T. “T stands for teleology”, which is the idea that there is a purpose or goal behind our behavior and that that goal is created by the way we organize our energy.
E – Ego or Ego/Id
E = Ego or Ego/Id = The deepest self or Id.
