Yaotl personality type is ISTJ, and the connotations of the ISTJ characterization can be seen in the way Yaotl uses language, analyzes situations, takes control of his surroundings and perceives the world differently to other people.
Yaotl serves as the narrator of the story, and the way he tells his story is interesting. He uses irony in a lot of places, and I'm not sure if it's intentional or not. It may be just me, but it seems like he's a bit of a smartass when he's telling his story. I only noticed this after reading a lot of other stories by this author.
