Beth Chapin personality type is ESFJ, the ‘Nurturer’. She’s a good person and she has a lot of common sense and compassion, but she’s also really needy and insecure. She can get very clingy, and she loves to be the center of attention.
And this is where I think we get into some controversy. Because some people will say, “Well, she could be an ESTJ because she’s a leader and she’s assertive and she’s kind of dominant and she wants to be the center of attention.” But I don’t think we can make an ESFJ into an ESTJ. I think that there are certain aspects of each type that are more dominant than others, but I think it’s really important to recognize that these are two different types. I don’t see Beth Chapin as an ESTJ.
And I think it’s important for people to recognize that they are not actually ISTJs or ESTJs. We are all unique individuals who are capable of being many different things. And that’s one of the hardest things for people to understand.
