Ashleigh personality type is ISFJ, and honestly, I think that's an accurate enough representation of how I feel about books. They're important to me, they're comforting and they're a way to escape reality. And anyone with a book phobia should be ashamed of themselves. (And I'm not the only one.) I don't like to read, but I do like to read, especially when something is good.
I have a lot of books--a lot. Like, a lot. I'd estimate that I have about 2500 books in my house at any given time. When I was still living in my home before the divorce, I had the entire basement completely filled with books. That's why I'm always so excited when someone gives me a book as a gift--because they're giving me the opportunity to fill up another space with more books.
I guess you could say that I have a problem. And a little bit of OCD too. It's one of my biggest weaknesses, and I can normally hide it from my friends and family, but not so much from myself. I have a problem buying books. Like, a lot of books. It's probably my favorite hobby, because I love so many different genres and authors.
