majo tourbillon personality type is INFJ, and I am also an INFJ, but I am having a tough time accepting my role of being the mediator between the others, the "type-pusher" as my father called it. I am having a tough time accepting the role of being the type-pusher. With this, I mean that I don't have a strong desire to push other people in order to make everyone happy.
I'm still learning how to be more openly "type-pushing" and trying to understand why I seem to be so reluctant to throw other people under the bus and stand up for myself. Why is it that so many people want me to play mediator and not type-pusher?
I know that it is not easy to be an INFJ, and I know that it is not easy to be an INFJ with a role-identity as a type-pusher. INFJs are known for being "empaths" and "people-pleasers" and for being incredibly sensitive and understanding. It is also not easy to be an INFJ when there are so many "type-pushers" in the world. INFJs are sometimes criticized for wanting to be helpful, sensitive and understanding.
