Matusalém personality type is INFJ, and it’s my personality type (I’m a member of the “wise” ¡ÚÎÔÅí and “good” ¡ÚÎÔÅí groups). In the USA, 70% of INFJ’s have a high degree of introversion, meaning that they spend a lot of time alone and do not enjoy being around others.
My friend has a high degree of introversion, and although his need for solitude is not as great as mine, he still must spend quite a bit of time alone. This can lead to some negative feelings and emotions, especially when you’re with people who are not INFJ.
One of my motivations for writing this article is to try to understand my friend better, and to help him through his depressive periods. Here are some questions I asked myself while I was talking with him:
