Vindicator (mob) personality type is ISTJ, so I'm not surprised that the Vindicator is so firm and serious. I can't think of any other type that could be so in his/her own way, so forceful.
The Vindicator is the "hard" type because he/she is usually very much in control of his/her emotions, and is usually very effective when dealing with others. If you've ever seen this type wear a grim visage, you know what I'm talking about. The Vindicator usually does not express emotions unless he/she feels that it is necessary to do so, and this could make for a difficult time when it comes to relationships with other individuals. The Vindicator's main goal is to make sure the rules are enforced, and if there is any confusion regarding the rules, the Vindicator will let you know.
I'm not saying that the Vindicator won't like you or like you enough to do anything for you (he/she will), but you should know that if you're acting in an obviously inappropriate manner, the Vindicator will feel obligated to inform you that it's not okay for you to do that.
