"Link" is a fictional character and the main protagonist of The Legend of Zelda series. He is an adventurer who fights to free the land of Hyrule from evil forces and aids Princess Zelda in her quest to defeat Ganon. He is usually depicted as a young boy who wears a green tunic and a blue hat with a band around it which bears the Triforce symbol. In most games he uses his sword, the blade of which is sometimes shaped like a Triforce. His appearance has changed significantly over the years, though he has always worn the blue coat and hat. He is also known by his alter ego, Linkle, and his older sister, Aryll.
