As a child, Honoka had a very disciplined and structured nature, she was willing to do anything in pursuit of her goals, even if it meant she would be scolded. In the anime, Honoka is portrayed as very childish and spoiled, even going as far as to call out on anyone that would dare to break her toys, however, due to the influence of her father and grandfather, Honoka has become more mature and regards everything with a more serious side, no matter how small the matter might be. She is also a very kind person who will avoid hurting others and will work hard to try and fix what she did wrong.
Honoka's love towards her friends, especially to Kousaka Aki, is very strong. She was willing to do anything for Aki, even if it meant going against her father and grandfather. Even if Aki rejected her, she still wanted Aki to be happy. She can confidently make decisions on behalf of Aki, even if the decision is bad. Even if Honoka is given a bad order by her grandfather, she will still obey him and would not disobey him.
