As a Caregiver type, INFJs will go out of their way to help others. They’re naturally warm and compassionate, and tend to be generous for no other reason than because they want to be.
Due to this caring nature, INFJs often struggle with the desire to help others. They have a hard time telling others “no” or saying “no” when they’re asked to do something they don’t want to.
In the past, I struggled with this during my INFJ years. I believed that I had a duty to help everyone who asked me for a favor, and I wanted to be a good person no matter what. I was constantly worrying that I wasn’t being a good person enough, and I was often dealing with guilt for not being able to help everyone.
