Slam Bam personality type is INFP, the Artist.
This is the first time in a while that I've seen this type at work. (I had a friend who was an INFP with a very similar personality type.)
In this case, it's not that the INFP doesn't have the ability to be tactful, but apparently she has trouble keeping her mouth shut when she knows she's being tactless. In this case, I think that she honestly doesn't mean to be tactless, and probably doesn't even realize it until she sees what's happening.
However, INFPs are known for not being vocal about their feelings very often. They are extremely private and will usually not discuss or comment on things that bother them. Because of this, they may find themselves saying things that they think are tactful, only to have the other person misinterpret their words as offensive or hurtful. INFPs also tend to be very sensitive to criticism, which may lead them to feel hurt when they believe they've been misunderstood.
I think that this is something that the artist herself needs to work on, because although she thinks she's being nice by pointing out the problems, she's most likely upsetting other people in the process.
