The Inquisitor followed Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan Kenobi to Alderaan and discovered that they were Jedi. He attended their training and became a Jedi Knight. Qui-Gon passed away and Obi-Wan took over his role as the Jedi' liaison with the Republic.
The Inquisitor was on a mission to the planet Kirrek, when it was attacked by Mandalorians. He survived the initial attack, but was injured in the ensuing battle. He was rescued by Owen Lars and taken back to Alderaan for rest and recovery. He was later assigned to a diplomatic mission to the planet Dantooine and met Siri Tachi for the first time, who also happened to be on Dantooine at the time.
