Dr. Heiter was married to his high school sweetheart, Katerina Heiterova, who was an artist. The two met when she was 17 years old and he was 16. She went to art school after high school but didn’t finish. They have two children together, Antonia, who is three years old, and Ondrej, who is one year old.
Dr. Heiter became involved in politics while he was at university. He became active in the UN Club and the UN Student Union in Znojmo.
