This is a misconception of the type though. INFJs are not introverted because they’re private and shy.
They can be quite social and open, but they’re more reserved than extroverts. Introversion is a part of their personality, but it’s not their defining feature.
INFJs are also very creative and good at problem solving. They’re often seen as being extremely wise or even psychic.
This is not uncommon with INFJs since they consider themselves as “problem solvers” as well as “finders of patterns.” They’ll often be found asking “why” questions and will examine things in detail to try to find the answer.
