I was born in Toronto, but my family moved all around like crazy. I went to kindergarten in Brampton, Ontario; then we moved to Calgary; then we moved to Red Deer; then we moved back to Toronto; then we moved to Windsor; then we moved to Timmins, Ontario; then we moved to Sudbury, Ontario; and finally we settled in Sarnia, Ontario where I grew up.
Sarnia is the largest city on the west side of Lake Huron. It's also the birthplace of Adirondack chairs, so they have a lot of those. It was a great place to grow up, because it's all about nature. It's kind of a natural playground for me—I'm an outdoorsy person. We have a ton of parks and a lot of water.
