5. Pokemon
Pokemon is my all time favorite anime series! I love the plot, the characters, and everything else about it. I love seeing the friendships and rivalries between all the cute pokemon characters. It’s the only anime series I’ve seen more than once.
4. .Hack//SIGN
I loved .Hack//SIGN when I was younger. It was so different compared to other anime series I saw, and I loved it for that reason. .Hack//SIGN introduced me to the idea of “oral exchanges”, which is basically when two people talk to each other by mouth movements. It was really weird at first, but I eventually got used to it. The story in .Hack//SIGN is about the story of Taro, an apprentice hacker who is given an online game named “The World”, in which he is able to connect with other people in the game. It was really interesting how this anime series dealt with cyber-bullying and all that went with it.
Amuro Ray is a fictional character introduced in Sunrise's 1979 anime series Mobile Suit Gundam. Amuro is a mechanic who becomes the pilot of the mecha known as RX-78-2 Gundam to protect himself from the Zeon forces invading his space colony during the war. He becomes an Earth Federation pilot in the war as well as the first Newtype, a type of human with special awareness which gives him great skills when fighting. The Gundam franchise explores Amuro's involvement in the wars piloting the titular mecha. He returns in the sequel, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and the feature film Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack where he takes part in new conflicts. He is voiced by Tōru Furuya, Brad Swaile, Michael Lindsay, Matthew Erickson, Fryda Wolff and Lucien Dodge. As the protagonist of the series, Amuro was made a teenager due to the show's sponsor. Director Yoshiyuki Tomino explained Amuro became a Newtype to explain his talent when piloting the RX-78-2 Gundam despite his young age.
