Chip personality type is ISTP, and the most important parts of the personality type for me are the Extraverted Sensing and Thinking preferences. I find ISTP to be a really interesting type because of its combination of this introverted and extraverted preference (which makes it an introversion-extroversion type). It's a personality type that's really hard to really understand – ISTP tend to be pretty quiet and shy – but also very observant and curious. They're not very talkative and like to analyze things and then give their advice and advice to the people around them. They're very deliberate and safe with their decision-making.
When you look at those two characteristics, they tend to be very introverted, so they have some introverted characteristics as well as extraverted characteristics. In some ways, they're similar to ISFP, but if you run a score of those two, ISTP is a different type. I think that's why ISTP's not as well-known as other types – because it's just a little bit different from other types.
The influence of the ENFP
Because ISTPs are similar to ENFPs, a lot of people assume that their personality type is just a mix of those two types.
