Sudou Kyoichi is a character from the manga series The Prince of Tennis, created by Takeshi Konomi, illustrated by Naohito Miyoshi, and serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1999 to 2004.
In the manga, Sudou Kyoichi is a close friend of Ryoma Echizen and a member of Seigaku. He is a junior at Seigaku and a tennis prodigy. He is known for his ability to read minds and use his mind control to gain an upper hand in a tennis match, winning the third round of the Seigaku Interhigh against Ryoma Echizen. He is also introduced as Ryoma's first love interest.
Sudou Kyoichi first appeared in the first chapter of Volume 1, but had no major role until Volume 8, after he transferred to another school. He had no major role until Volume 9, after he joined Seigaku.
