Wataru Akiyama personality type is ISTJ, the [Te] and NP [Ti] are very near in type, the AM is in the [Te] range and the NT is in the [Ti] range. So I use a combination of things, the [Te] and the NT, and I use the [Ti] as a touchstone. Just like an ISTJ is not an ISTJ without their [Te], but they have this sense of responsibility and duty that's much like a [Te] leader.
But I think it's more difficult for a NT to find this balance. They are usually more concerned with the people around them, but also I think it's difficult for a NT to take care of the people around them; it's a very individualistic type. They don't want to be bothered, they want to just be left alone. But then again, it depends on their relative position in society, so that's one thing.
But the Te, the Te is most important for me. I believe that it's the personality that was selected by nature to lead people. And if you want to lead people, you really have to be able to motivate people, to get them to do things.
