Despite its large size and destructive capabilities, MechaGodzilla is quite intelligent and sophisticated. It has a very respectful personality and it does not consider itself a threat to humanity because, as a result of being damaged so many times, it is now more of a mere weapon of mass destruction than a fighting machine. It is also considered a calm, collected individual and rarely shows any signs of fear or panic. It has a strong sense of loyalty to whoever controls it, and will defend them without question. When battling Godzilla on Monster Island, it furiously attacked him while completely ignoring his attempts at negotiation, and it even risked its own destruction to kill Godzilla. In spite of this, it is also willing to fight other mecha when necessary.
