Will personality type is ENFP, and my husband is ENTJ. We work together and we respect each other and we like to read and we like the same kind of music and we like to go to the same kind of shows. I think we balance each other really well.
Our kids (13 and 14) are very good friends with one another, and our almost seven-year-old is very close with their almost five-year-old brother. They're both good friends with his crazy little sister.
How do they get along?
They're all really good friends, and they play together outside. They'll take turns playing with each other, but they'll play together outside.
What's your advice for parents of children with different personalities?
I don't think the personality thing even matters. I think it's how you manage your children, who you are around them, who you are with them. It's not about their personality; it's about you. You can be really fun, really interesting, you can be silly, you can be stern—it doesn't matter what your personality is; it's about who you are.
