James Sullivan personality type is INTJ, the architect. I’m a prototypical INTJ, but my type is a pathological introvert. I can’t speak in a group without feeling like a fraud, and I get a lot of anxiety from social settings. I’m a meticulous detail-oriented person who is uncomfortable with ambiguity and change. I detest the impersonal and the amorphous. I see myself as an independent, autonomous woman. My work is my family; my work is my religion; I feel the same way about the church. I’m an introvert, but not an introvert. I’m socially awkward, but I’m not socially awkward.
So, I’m not that introverted. It’s hard to say what makes me different. When I read about introversion, I can see what makes people introverted, but I don’t see the traits that make me different.
I often tell people that I am an INTJ because according to Carl Jung, the only personality type that has no close relationship to another personality type is INTJ. It’s not like INFJ and INFJ, for example.
