2) How do you think the contestants will fare over the course of the season?
I’ve seen some people call this season “the season of the idol”. I think that may be a bit of a stretch, but I think that this season will certainly have its share of interesting contestants.
I am a sucker for a good underdog. I’m a big fan of the “pack of wolves against a small group of lions” story, and I think that will be a central theme for this season.
3) What are your thoughts on the new format? Are you happy with it?
I’m not the biggest fan of the new format, I’d still prefer a season of 28 competitors, but I also recognize that this was a necessary change.
