I also see that you’re a huge fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000. What is it about the show that speaks to you?
It’s so brilliant. The writing, the acting, and the whole concept itself is so brilliant. The whole idea of riffing and making fun of terrible movies, and doing it together with your friends, and having a good time—that’s what I want to be doing. But it’s hard to pull off! I feel like I’m really lucky to have found MST3K. For some people, it’s not quite as magical as it is for me. It’s hard to find a good comedy show that doesn’t seem like it’s trying too hard to be funny.
