He’s a truly good man, and he loves his profession. As we’ve already seen, he’s not thrilled when he has to put someone to death, but when he does, he does it in such a way that the dead person doesn’t really see what’s happening. He makes sure that his victims go peacefully. He’s very good at it.
He really does care for the people he kills. And the ones who die by his hand know exactly what’s happening and why they’re taking their last breath. He takes great pride in his work and in his ability to help people who are in distress. Many of the people he helps are people trying to escape from abusive relationships, or are in situations where they are being used by others for their own means, or are in situations where they are being threatened by other people.
