Bell personality type is ISFP, which is the same as two of my friends, as well as my mother. The one who always gets people riled up is a friend of mine and she’s a stereotypically shy ISFP. But she’s also a very sensitive and thoughtful person, so I think it’s just a matter of people misunderstanding the way she acts.
There are a lot of stereotypes out there about introverted personalities, but I think they’re based on things like people wanting to talk to them at parties or being more interested in books than in people. I think a lot of introverts actually gravitate towards working more with their hands than people who are more extroverted. It’s just that they don’t necessarily like the social aspect of it.
As a wife and mother, how does your personality type play into the way you function?
I think it’s going to be a little bit different for me because it’s really important to me how my husband and my children see me.
